Gone a long while What have i missed

Well, Elizabeth will be pre-sold to club members July 31st and August 1st at launch parties at the AGPs. She's going to be blonde with blue eyes [img]confused.gif[/img] They're relauncing some of Felicity's retired things, and I guess everything will be available to the public as of September 1. We've heard that the work dress and riding habit are coming back, but beyond that, everything's been a little shadowy. We're also expecting two new AGOTs September 1st.

WHAT??? What is up with that? Why commit such a BLATANT FAUX PAS and give Elizabeth, of all things, BLONDE HAIR???

If AG hadn't changed Felicity's original hair color form bright red to dark red, then they wouldn't have looked so similar. Felicity's current hair is almost brown...of course she will look like Elizabeth! If they kept Felciity's original color, bright red, then she would look more different from Elizabeth's dark brown hair. Maybe instead of changing Elizabeth, they should put Felicity back how she was originally.

My htinking is that they just want to sell a blonde doll and are using that as an excuse...AG is seeming to like a lot of blond dolls..

Now it makes sense to why AG has redone all of the Felicity books. I want the old Felicity but i also want Elizabeth. How do you become a member?

AG's "official response" as to why Elizabeth has blonde hair is because otherwise the Elizabeth and Felicity dolls were too similar. They wanted to make them distinctly different. They are re-doing the illustrations in the Felicity books as well, and now describe her as "fair" instead of brown-haired, I think.

Also to add, I think the clothes press is coming back- maybe I heard that here, I'm not sure.
